About Campus Recreation

Campus Recreation is dedicated to the enhancement of the Auburn University experience through innovative recreation and wellness opportunities, world-class service, exceptional value, and professional expertise in an environment that is uniquely Auburn.

Ever striving to be the healthiest campus in the nation, Auburn University Campus Recreation promotes student, faculty, and staff success through the promotion of mental and physical wellness, positive self-image, and the development of lifelong patterns of healthy living.

The Recreation and Wellness Center features a 1/3-mile track, 200,000-gallon leisure pool and hot tub, two 50-foot climbing towers and a bouldering wall, two multi-purpose activity courts, weight-training areas, racquetball courts, cardio/fitness training areas, a dedicated personal training studio, and an outdoor adventure center including an equipment rental center and bike shop.

Students also have access to 15 acres of natural turf field space, five synthetic turf fields, three sand volleyball courts, and a one-mile walking/running trail.

Named "one of the coolest recreation centers in the nation" by Men's Health Magazine, the Recreation and Wellness Center and its allied facilities are utilized by more than 75% of the student population each year.
